Around the holidays it's very hard to keep on top of training. Even professional athletes find this period complicated. Generally, not over eating and maintaining some quality work is sufficient to make sure the Christmas holidays don't impact your performance negatively. Also, don't take too many consecutive days off. De-training happens very, very quickly and can begin after even three days without training.
